Local by default

Your memory graph lives on your machine. Nothing leaves it without an explicit, revocable grant — not for training, not for telemetry, not for us.

Consent is a data type

Every recall carries a scope, a purpose and an expiry. Permissions aren't a settings screen; they're part of the record itself.

Accountable recall

Every retrieval is logged, attributable and inspectable. If the system remembered something, you can see exactly when, why and for whom.

Quiet software

No notifications, no engagement loops, no dashboards demanding attention. Memory should be ambient infrastructure, not a product you visit.

The interface

A ledger, not a feed.

Every entry Mnemos holds is a record with provenance: where it came from, who may read it, and when it expires. The interface is rendered from the same tokens as this page — no screenshots, no drift.
